Typographic Fictions

2021

Typographic fiction is an inquiry into legibility, that started with an abstract question; What happens when you push a letter-form beyond legibility? When a letter form is pushed beyond legibility, it loses its formal identity and floats in an endless existential void until its function is redefined. Typographic Fictions are fictions about letter forms whose ambitions supersede their intended phonetic and linguistic function. In a series of 3D and typographic explorations, I tap into these fictional spaces by re-contextualising typographic form and function.
